SoOoOoOo...
Pretty much the reason I stopped writing about myself on here is because the entire reason I started this blog was to "capture" my experiences of before and during my time in England BUT since that plan is no longer in the picture and I was going through a really tough time and feeling quite lost....yada yada yada, I didn't want to continue with regular blogging. Hence why I started putting music on here. Music is extremely important to me and is a HUGE helper when in the healing process so that's why I did it. But now I am doing MUCH MUCH better with myself and with life and feeling at peace with everything. I feel like I have purpose again and a few new directions to pursue have revealed themselves - WOOHOO! So since I'm feeling much better and more adventurous and energetic, I'm wondering if I should continue to do the whole blogging thing. If I do continue to do so I will be doing more posting about myself and less of the music thing (pretty much I'm getting bored with it) BUT I'm only willing to do so if I know people will be reading it and keeping up. So I am asking you people? Should I continue to blog? Does anyone care whether I do or not? Is it all just a waste of time if I do? COMMENTS! COMMENTS! COMMENTS!
THANKS YO.

The Wombats
This song I am posting today always makes me laugh! I am so excited to put these guys on my page. They are so much fun and are a band that def pushes the envelope. Ridiculous and miracalous, from Liverpool, I give you The Wombats!
THE WOMBATS - KILL THE DIRECTOR
I’ve met someone that makes me feel seasick
Oh what a skill to have
Oh what a skill to have
So many skills that make her distinctive
But they’re not mine to have
No they’re not mine
Whenever she looks i read the nearest paper
No i don’t care about the soaps
No i don’t care about the soaps
Though i’m acting like i’m in an Eastenders episode
If this is a rom-com
Kill the director
If this is a rom-com
Kill the director please
Carrots help us see much better in the dark
Don’t talk to girls; they’ll break your heart
And this is my head and this is my spout
They work together; they can’t figure anything out
So with the angst of a teenage band
Here’s another song about a gender i’ll never understand
Here’s another song about a gender i’ll never understand
If this is a rom-com
Kill the director
If this is a rom-com
Kill the director
If this is a rom-com
Kill the director please
This is no Bridget Jones
This is no Bridget Bridget
This is no Bridget Jones
This is no Bridget Bridget
This is no Bridget Jones
This is no Bridget Bridget
This is no Bridget Jones
This is no Bridget Bridget
This is no Bridget Jones
This is no Bridget Bridget
This is no Bridget Jones
This is no Bridget

Mandy Moore
I don't think many people really know how much Mandy Moore's music has progressed since way back when she was 15 and her bubble gum pop song "Candy" came out. I'd say..MUCH IMPROVED! Seriously guys, her music is amazing. She's got a good folk-sie sound going that is fairly raw and fresh. Please check out her latest two albums Amanda Leigh and Wild Hope. I've posted a couple songs from Amanda Leigh, hope you enjoy.
And please, feedback is welcomed and wanted. Let me know what everyone thinks of any stuff I post here. Even if you dislike some stuff...let me know! :D
MANDY MOORE - FERN DELL
These are the thoughts that keep me up at night
Asleep with you
Dull dog bark and no bite
In love with a fool feasting for my eyes
Fern Dell
Fern Dell
I thought I knew you well
Follow the kicks and punches with the rest
Rearrange the furniture hoping it would make more sense
It didn't make a difference
It only made a bigger mess
Fern Dell
Fern Dell
I thought I knew you well
Here he comes along
Fresh in from the kill
Blood on the sheet
Lined up on my windowsill
Suddenly
Hollow me
Regrettably you never will
Fern Dell
Fern Dell
Oh
Fern Dell
Fern Dell
I thought I knew you well
I thought I knew you well
MANDY MOORE - BUG
What would happen if I flew to San Francisco
Wouldn't make much sense
From the outside looking in
Coming around again
All the answers
Far too many questions
All the things we said
Never really put to bed
Coming around again
You know I love you
What am I supposed to do
You're so far away
I stay on track
You're all over the map
Come back to L.A.
You know I love you
What am I supposed to do
I've been here before
I stay on track
You're all over the map
Come back to New York
Is this the only way for us to communicate
I put it in a song
Didn't really take too long
Coming around again
Coming around again

PETE YORN and ADELE
Pete Yorn
Its about time people know who Pete Yorn is, if you already don't. He's from New Jersey and has been around for quite a while. For fans of the movie 'Me, Myself, & Irene', you may recognize a song of his from the soundtrack called Strange Condition. I feel Pete Yorn is a genius when it comes to writing lyrics and his voice is undeniable. Please do have a listen, and I hope it will make you sit back and smile as it makes me do. :D
PETE YORN - LAST SUMMER
We were afraid
We would never meet again
We would never see it thru
Our time was short but not for no one reason
We couldnt stay
We were not each others truth
We were close but very far
I'll never see your face in sunshine again...
We were there last summer
It was fresh as the ocean
It was great last summer
But we can not go back again.
We were trying
To repeat what we once had
But you left so many times
You can never go back again
We were there last summer..
Oh maybe as time goes by
We will talk about it and laugh
But now it's too close, it's too close
We know what we must do
We were fools
To wonder when we'd get it back
I know i can not do it all again
The longing pain that we will deal with eventually
We were there last summer..
We can not go back again
We can not go back again
We can not go back again..oh
Adele
I HIGHLY encourage each and everyone of you to go and buy this woman's record...or at least take the time to listen to it. INCREDIBLE! I saw her perform live on vh1's Diva's show and I was flabbergasted! What talent! Straight from London, this girl has got a voice! Beautiful! I can't believe I haven't listened to her music before now. I'm sure I'll be obsessing over her for quite a while...
ADELE - COLD SHOULDER
You say it's all in my head
And the things I think just don't make sense
So where you been then? Don't go all coy
Don't turn it ?round on me like it's my fault
See I can see that look in your eyes
The one that shoots me each and every time
You grace me with your cold shoulder
Whenever you look at me I wish I was her
You shower me with words made of knives
Whenever you look at me I wish I was her
These days when I see you
You make it look like I'm see-through
Do tell me why you waste our time
When your heart ain't admitting you're not satisfied
You know I know just how you feel
I'm starting to find myself feeling that way too
When you grace me with your cold shoulder
Whenever you look at me I wish I was her
You shower me with words made of knives
Whenever you look at me I wish I was her
Time and time again I play the role of fool
(Just for you)
Even in the daylight when you came in
(I don't see you)
Try to look for things I hear but our eyes never find
Though I do know how you play
You grace me with your cold shoulder
Whenever you look at me I wish I was her
You shower me with words made of knives
Whenever you look at me I wish I was her
You grace me with your cold shoulder
Whenever you look at me I wish I was her
You shower me with words made of knives
Whenever you look at me I wish I was her

Weezer
(If Youre Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To - Weezer
WEEZER-IF YOU'RE WONDERING IF I WANT YOU TO (I WANT YOU TO)
The moon was shining on the lake at night
The slayer t-shirt fit the scene just right
Smeared mascara, i looked into your eyes, i saw a light
You told me stories about your chickadees
They didn't like bb guns or stupid archery
John the lifeguard, he let them use the pool all day for free
Then the conversation stopped, and i looked down at my feet
I was next to you and you were right there next to me
Then i said go!
If you're wondering if i want you, (i want you to) i want you to
So make a move, (make a move) 'cos i ain't got all night
The rest of the summer was the best we ever had
We watched titanic, and it didn't make us sad
I took you to best buy, you took me home to meet your mom and dad
Your mom cooked meatloaf even though i don't eat meat
I dug you so much, i took some for the team
Your dad was silent, his eyes were fixed on what was on tv
Then the conversation stopped, and i looked down at the ring
Your folks were next to you, and you were right there next to me
Then i said go!
If you're wondering if i want you, (i want you to) i want you to (i want you to)
I swear it's true (i swear it's true) without you, my heart is blue
Go!
If you're wondering if i want you, (i want you to) i want you to
So make a move, (make a move) 'cos i ain't got all night
So much pain may come our way
There may come a day when we have nothing left to say
When the conversation stops, and we're facing our defeat
I'll be next to you and you'll be right there next to me
Then i'll say go!
If you're wondering if i want you, (i want you to) i want you to (i want you to)
I swear it's true (i swear it's true) without you, my heart is blue
Go!
If you're wondering if i want you (i want you to) i want you to
So make a move, (make a move) 'cos i ain't got all night

Taylor Swift
Yes I am a Taylor Swift fan. How can you not be? Well even so, I've been listening to her music the last couple days and this song keeps sticking in my brain. Its sweet and reminds me of times when I was young and had silly crushes. I think the reason I like listening to music like this is cuz it brings back childhood memories when life was much more simple and pure. Hope this makes you feel the same way. :)

Mew
I found out about this band from Denmark a few years ago. I cannot get enough of their music. Full of fantastic rare sounds and unique vocals, this band has remained high on my list.
MEW-AM I WRY? NO
Farah, now that we're here
Can you tell me
Exactly how I should have done?
Farah drives with her eyes closed
Do you ever
Inflict unwanted memories?
I know you
And I know it won't take you long
To make me smile
Farah, angelic girl
I'll have you know
It's you and me potentially
Farah, don't pull the carpet
From underneath
Indifference is killing me
Am I wry?
Oh my! Fallacy Fallacy in my words,
Am I wry?
I know you
And I know you're not afraid
To say the least
Diamond ring, diamond ring
But you can't find it
Cold is the night (repeat)

MUSE
New song just released for their upcoming album THE RESISTANCE which is to be released in September. And No, I CANNOT wait!! YAAAAAY!
You and me are the same
we don't know or care whose to blame
But we know that whoever holds the reins
Nothing will change our cause has gone insane
And these wars they can't be won
And these wars they can't be won
And do you want them to go on, on and on?
Why split these states when there can be only one?
And must we do as we're told?
And must we do as we're told?
instrumental break
You and me fall in line
To be punished for unproven crimes
And we know there is no one we can trust
Our ancient heroes they are turning to dust
And these wars they can never be won
Does anyone know or care how they begun?
They just promise to go on, and on and on
But soon we will see there can only be one
United States, United States of
Eurasia, sia, sia, sia!
Eurasia, sia, sia, sia!
Eurasia, sia, sia, sia!

Plushgun
I recently learned about this band just last week while attending a show featuring one of my fav bands. These guys opened up for them. I must be honest, at first I wasn't entirely sure about these guys...they seemed a bit too poppy but after they played a couple more songs I was officially hooked and I now deem them ingenious! Be sure to give them a listen and if you don't like it at first...do what I did and give them a chance. Their music really is quite addictive and getting the chance to see them live was amazing. True talent!
PLUSHGUN-HOW WE ROLL
From the parking lot
You see our lights on
You see us coming fast you hide cause I know
Drinkin' from empty cans
You see the pins we're wearin'
Of band's you'll never know will drive you crazy
And this is how we roll
Driving through the summer air
And this is how we roll
The suburban pioneers
Hey you cheerleaders
We're superior
We're only losers till we reach the end of senior year
We never comb our hair
Our clothes are out of fashion
From our old abandoned cars we'll blast the clash out
And this is how we roll
Driving through the summer air
And this is how we roll
The suburban pioneers
And this is how we roll
With the black dye in our hair
And this is how we roll
We're the rebels of senior year
Hey consumer girls
In your motorcades
'Cause that's what daddy buys a new mercedes
But you would laugh at us
Back in junior high
As we lost track of time in dreams of grandure
Tell me, tell me
Who's the one gone VIP yea
Tell me, tell me
Where's your boyfriend
Tell me, tell me
Do you want my autograph
Tell me, tell me
How that feels now
And this is how we roll
Driving through the summer air
And this is how we roll
The suburban pioneers
And this is how we roll
With the black dye in our hair
And this is how we roll
We're the rebels of senior year
Won't you tell me that you're sorry now
'Bout the 10 years wasted time
When you avoided my sight 'cause I was crushin' you
Oh your standards were so high
But we'll sit in our cars and blast our tunes
'Cause the music saved our lives
Will the world love us we'll never know
Will you wish you could go back, go back back in time
(Tell me tell me)
Do you want to
(Tell me tell me)
Tell me baby
(Tell me tell me)
It's ok you want me
And this is how we roll
Driving through the summer air
And this is how we roll
The suburban pioneers
And this is how we roll
With the black dye in our hair
And this is how we roll
We're the rebels of senior year

Arctic Monkeys
By far, one of my FAVORITE bands! So much fun! I'm always dancing around when their stuff is on. This is the first song from their 2007 album 'Favourite Worst Nightmare'.
Brainstorm - Arctic Monkeys
ARCTIC MONKEYS- BRAINSTORM
Brian
Top marks for not trying
So kind of you to bless us with your effortlessness
We're grateful and so strangly comforted
And I wonder
Are you putting us under
'Cos we can't take our eyes off the t-shirt
And ties combination
Well see ya later, Innovator!
Some want to kiss some want to kick you
There's not a net you couldn't slip through
Or at least that’s the impression I get
'Cos you’re smooth and you’re wet
And she’s not aware yet, but she’s yours
She'll be sayin' "Use me
Show me the Jacuzzi"
I imagine that it's there on a plate
You're our rendezvous rate
Means you'll never be frightened
To make em wait for a while
I doubt it's your style
Not to get what you set
Out to acquire
The eyes are on fire
You are the unforecasted storm
(Brian)
Calm, Collected and Commanding
(Top marks for not trying)
You hit the other story standing
With your renditions and jokes
I bet there's hundreds of blokes
That have wept 'cos you've stolen their
Thunder
Are you putting us under
'Cos we can't take our eyes of your t-shirt
And ties combination
Well see ya later,Innovator!

Fefe Dobson
Miss Dobson is not a new artist...but she's Canadian and her second record was never released because the record company she was signed to dropped her from their label....BOOO!!! BUT she has now signed to a different label and is currently working on her third album. I am QUITE excited! She may not be a cutting edge artist but I think she is a lot of fun and just the fact she's still making music is inspiring in itself. What an awesome chick! Anywhooooo, these are a couple fun new songs from her upcoming album (I'm not sure of the release date...she is still in the recording studio). Hope you enjoy! :D
Watch Me Move
When I walk I'm walking straight up with the motion
When you see my hips shake baby look for cover
You try to put me in a box but I'm the only one
I'm a firecracker
Boy don't tell your mother
W-w-w-watch me move
W-w-w-watch me move
I'll get you in the mood
W-w-w-watch me
I'm a lover with no boundaries
You can't hold me down
But if i like it baby, I might just let ya
I feel it (?)
When i through you're gonna learn more than a thing or two
I'm gonna tease ya till you beg for euthanasia
I'm a respirator *gasp*
Now watch me move
W-w-w-watch me move
W-w-w-watch me move
I'll get you in the mood
W-w-w-watch me
I theorize but love me baby
Take a good look put it into your memory
When I walk into the room you're gonna, you're gonna...
You're gonna w-w-w-watch me move
W-w-w-watch me move
W-w-w-watch me move
W-w-w-watch me move
W-w-w-watch me
You know i like it new
I'll get you in the mood
I Want You
I want you
When the sun comes up, I wanna make you mine, I wanna make it count
I want you
I wanna take you home, I gonna make it known, I wanna take you on
I want you
Let me say it again, now let me say it again, now let me say it again
I want you
I want ya more than a friend
I'm gonna gonna make you mine!
And the bells will ring and the children sing 'cause your gonna be all mine
And the people dance as they (I want you)
Just to see what we could be (I want you)
Don't ya see what we could be (I want you)
Yeah to see what we could be
I want you
I want ya everywhere,
I'm gonna make it clear, I want ya standing here
I want you
I wanna be the one,
I wanna show you off, so I can have some fun
I want you
Let me say it again,
now let me say it again, now let me say it again
I want you
I want you more than a friend
I'm gonna gonna make you mine!
And the bells will ring and the children sing 'cause your gonna be all mine
And the people dance as they clap their hands
Just to see what we could be (I want you)
Just to see what we could be (I want you)
Don't ya see what we could be (I want you)
Yeah to see what we could be
All the girls
All the boys
Clap clap clap, clap clap your hands
Clap clap clap, clap clap your hands
Clap clap clap, clap clap your hands
Clap clap clap, clap clap your hands
And the bells will ring and the children sing 'cause your gonna be all mine
And the people dance as they clap their hands
Just to see what we could be (I want you)
Just to see what we could be (I want you)
Don't ya see what we could be (I want you)
Yeah to see what we could be

Eric Hutchinson
I'm QUITE sure most people have heard of this kid by now. His song Rock & Roll has been playing all over the place on different radio stations. The song is pretty catchy and it definitely stuck with me. Every time I hear it I find myself singing along and dancing around like a goof-even in the car! I for sure had to check out the rest of his stuff and what do you know? This kid is a genius! And he can totally sing! So here is an awesome song from Eric Hutchinson's album 'Sounds Like This' called All Over Now.
All Over Now - Eric Hutchinson
All Over Now :
Call me crazy if you've got it in you
but these people don't seem to mind
sweet vermouth now you're telling me the truth
a little stubbornness will work out fine
a bottom feeder at the end of my rope
but i'm wondering where this rope began
gonna circle around what i couldn't help bring down
it's just supply with demand
nothing looks the same
even when there's been no change
say that something's gonna give
and it's all giving out on you
CHORUS
when it's all over now
it's all over now
it's no longer fun and it's all been overdone
so it's all over now
a large pickup truck with a little cargo towed
gets from baker's to the laundromat
these daily fights all start to sound alike
i guess i'm gonna have to live with that
short changed
now it's getting even harder to identify the repetition
short changed
now it's getting even harder to identify the repetition
will i simply peel away
feels more likely everyday
say that something's gonna give
and it's all giving out on you
CHORUS
and if you came here to tell me that you're sorry
for the pain you couldn't cause
then save your breath and use it

I'm LOPSIDED!
Yup you heard me! 6 weeks ago yesterday I found out I had an ovarian cyst which had twisted my right ovary in my fallopian tube. Because the pain was so great and the ovary was past the saving point I needed to have surgery to remove the ovary. As of now I am pretty much fully recovered except for I just need to remain careful not to lift anything too heavy or strain myself. Since the surgery my future plans have changed severely...for those of you who did not know, I was planning to leave to London, England for art school mid-june for at least a year. I am sorry to say that plan is no longer possible. You see, for the past year or so I have not had any health insurance so once I received my hospital bills and fees I ended up having to use all of my savings to pay those off. As disappointed as I was (and am) to give up my England plans, I've decided to remain in Utah for at least another couple years and to go back to school in Ogden. Who knows...perhaps once I earn my Bachelors I may try to study in England again for a Masters. Until then, I suppose I'll try to go where life takes me and to learn as much as I can from it... its going to be tough, but I know I can handle anything.
Because things have changed so much for me I've decided to make this blog more about music...I'll share some music I love and post lyrics, video clips, and info about artists I love. I will still post little things about myself and my life here and there, but for the most part I just want to keep things light and fun. Music is truely inspiring to me and has always helped me through hard times...I hope the music I share with everyone can inspire and help as it does me.

Current favorite song...
MEG & DIA is an indie band who started in Salt Lake City, UT and has now become fairly well known throughout the country. I believe last year they traveled and performed on the Warped Tour and will be doing so again this year. A great band of whom I fully lend my support to because of their talent and dedication for great music. When I was creating a new playlist recently I wanted to put a new song of theirs up and I found this one and now I CANNOT get the thing out of my head. I love the flow of the lyrics and the message they bring: Don't ever let anyone stand on your dreams, passion, or beliefs. Always believe in yourself and go for what you want in this life. There is no limit to what any of us can accomplish. How inspiring.
These are the lyrics and if you would like to have a listen to the song it is track 10 on my playlist above...though my playlist is on shuffle so it may take a few tries find it. If that's too much effort, you can also go to their myspace page. :) Enjoy!
http://www.myspace.com/megdia
MEG & DIA- What If
Stand tall
Head and shoulders down
They don't make'm like us anymore
You failed to see that I am not your shadow
I can be more
You said the world is hard to face
I am your umbrella, Megan
But I can keep up with it's pace
If you let me go
I was running to see you down the line
What if I've built up what was mine
What if I didn't forget passion like you did
What if I find my purpose first
What if I fulfill my life's work
What if you counting on my failure made me live
Not scared.
I know you thought I was shakin' fast in my own two shoes
But these soles could fight the ocean waves,
Dirty laundry, and world war II
Finally I see past my front hands
Not a coward's pissed-stained pants
Thank you for telling me I can't
Without you, I wouldn't be where I am
What if I see you down the line
What I took back my lost time
What if I didn't forget passion like you did
What if I find my purpose first
What if I fulfill my life's work
What if you counting on my failure made me live
If you see me again,
You won't know my face
But you'll recall my hurt
Inside of me, a side of you is placed
When I see you again,
I won't be bitter
You, you're so far to blame
You're part of this change
I am so much of you
I won't ever be the same
What if I see you down the line
What I took back what was mine
What if I didn't forget passion like you did
What if I find my purpose first
What if I fulfill my life's work
What if you counting on my failure made me live
What if you counting on my failure made me live
What if you counting on my failure made me live

CaLiFoRnIa!!!
I spent a GLORIOUS week in California dates March 11th- thru the 18th and every single day was fabulous! Ryan, who I went to go see and the whole reason for the trip ;), made up a list of stuff for us to do and we kept busy and did almost every single thing on that list.
DAY ONE- Right after picking me up at the airport, Ryan took me to lunch at the burger joint In-n-out burgers simply because I had never been and I must say...NOT too shabby! Then we spent the afternoon at a crazy fun Science Discovery Center and goofed around with all of the fun scientific stuff. We even watched a 3D film on dinosaurs which was fairly interesting. Then, because Ryan knows I love baseball/softball, we hit the batting cages! I was positive I was going to do HORRIBLE because it had been YEARS since I played but I actually hit a lot of the balls. I quite impressed myself! But Ryan still beat me out, he did WAY better than I. OH well, can't win them all. The rest of the evening was spent at home watching a movie and eating a yummy home cooked meal. YUM!
DAY TWO- We went to Knott's Berry Farm! YAY! I had been there once before but its been over ten years so it was really fun to go back. They have so many more rides there now. We OF COURSE had to go on the ancient classic ride Ghost Rider...which was INSANE! The first drop off was HUGE and I sooo wasn't ready for it! I was totally freaking out! There was another roller coaster we went on which was my favorite ride of the day called the Silver Bullet. It twisted round and round and flipped us all over the place. We were going to go on it again but we decided against it since we were both slightly dizzy. Amongst all of the fun rides we ran into Snoopy himself! He was so kind he even let us take a pic with him...Thanks Snoopy! For dinner we snagged some Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and biscuits (of which were to die for!) from a shop at Knott's and took them home and filled up. MMMmmmMMM....good eatin!
DAY THREE- This day was def jam packed and one of my favorites. We went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Can I just say, ocean creatures are AMAZING! I was in AWE the entire time we were there. We saw so many different kinds of fish, jellies, sting rays, sharks, coral, starfish, eels, etc. One sting ray in particular was MASSIVE! It was at least 5 feet across (AT LEAST!). I didn't even know sting rays could get so big! We got to pet the smaller sting rays and some small tiger sharks. After we left the Aquarium we headed back home and cleaned up a little and changed into some nicer clothing and then Ryan took me to a nice and quaint Italian restaurant in Laguna Beach called Ti Amo. The food there was DELICIOUS! I got an artichoke/spinach pasta dish and he got the duck. We each tried some of each others food and as good as my meal was, I was a little jealous of him for having the duck. haha...I was COMPLETELY satisfied with my food though, no complains here! We even managed to fit some dessert into our already full bellies. Everything about dinner was spectacular. To finish our date off we went to see the movie Witch Mountain. It was kind of an odd movie, about teenage aliens from another planet trying to save our planet and theirs....lol a bit strange indeed, but a decent way to end the date.
DAY FOUR- This day was a very relaxing, chilled out day. It was too chilly to swim, but we visited a few different beaches (Huntington, Newport, and Laguna) and wandered the day away walking up and down the piers taking pictures and looking out into the water. At one of the beaches we went to they were having a surfing competition so it was kind of fun to watch all the surfers out in the water doing their thing. On one of the peirs there was a silly pelican just hanging out with a few fishmen. We just stood there starring at all the passerbys. I thought he was adorable. For dinner that night I made my famous Orange Chicken (see recent blog post) and again it was a huge success. Both Ryan and his roommate scarfed that stuff down...and there was quite a bit too! I'm glad they liked. :D
DAY FIVE- Unfortunately Ryan had to work this day, but it wasn't so bad. I tagged along because the event he was working at were the horse races. YAY! Was lots of fun to watch all of the competing horses and all the tiny jockeys. Those guys seriously are MINIATURE! The bidders were really funny to watch also. They got so worked up that literally, as grown men, they were jumping up and down with excitement. They seriously could not contain themselves! Just that was enough to keep me entertained.
DAY SIX- After running a few errands earlier in they day, we ventured into downtown Los Angelos to go see the Hollywood walk of fame. Some of the people there were fairly interesting, some made me laugh. Was quite kewl to see all those stars on the side walks too. There are SO MANY. They don't end! I found a bunch of stars of some famous people I like...for example: JOHNNY! OH YES! :P We found and ice cream cookie shop where you can pick what 2 freshly baked cookies you want and then what ice cream you want and they make a homemade ice cream sandwich for you. SOOOO GOOD! And rich! We pretty much made ourselves sick from eating so much chocolate, ice cream, and cookie. But it was sooo worth it! That evening we attended a hockey game at the Staples Center. The L.A. Kings played versus the Nashville Predators. Sadly Nashville won by 1 point. We were both very disappointed, but overall we were happy about the game.
DAY SEVEN- Was extremely layed back. We slept in real late and didn't even leave the house til the afternoon. We spent the entire afternoon and early evening back on Laguna Beach and hung out. Although the water was still cold, the weather was perfect so we wore our bathing suits and got our feet wet-well that was the intention anyway. A few of the waves were bigger than we anticipated and we got splashed pretty good. One time I even got my camera wet...WHOOPS! But nothing was damaged so it was all in good fun. Out in the water there were some dolphins swimming around and Ryan said he even saw a whale out in the distance. We stayed until the sun set and disappeared from view before we decided to head back to the house.
DAY EIGHT- The day I left Cali and came home. What a bitter day. I was not ready to leave. Every moment in CA was so nice and I had such a great time I didn't want it to end. Again we slept in a little bit and Ryan made a really good breakfast before he took me to the airport and we spent the last couple hours hanging around.
I was sad to leave but I'm incredibly glad I went. The trip couldn't have gone any better and I really hope I get another chance to go the Cali sometime soon. :)
